IMCBS Membership

The International Miniature Cattle Breeders Society and Registry was established by and for individuals, private and public organizations and governments. It is for those persons and organizations interested in participating with and acquiring knowledge about the various breeds of Miniature Cattle. IMCBS is international in scope and represents every aspect of miniature cattle development, marketing and education. Memberships come from individuals, business organizations, colleges, universities, regulatory agencies and governments. The Miniature Cattle Breeds Registry is the breed registration arm of the society.

IMCBS Goals & Mission

The IMCBS programs and activities are all designed to help meet the objectives you've set for both yourself and your miniature cattle breed. IMCBS purposes, included in our Mission Statement, are to:

  • Provide quality and timely needed services
  • Enhance educational and professional growth among breeders and owners
  • Advance the skills and knowledge associated with miniature cattle breeding
  • Facilitate the exchange of ideas and to be a resource for current information

Annual All Breeds Miniature Cattle Exhibition - held each year with IMCBS members and the public from around the world. Also designed to showcase new breeds and recognize outstanding individuals within the IMCBS.

Breed Organization Chapters - offer local programs and activities to enhance understanding, cooperation, networking and professional development to IMCBS members closer to home.

Country and Regional Miniature Cattle Shows - to bring elements of the highly successful annual IMCBS show closer to home.

Travel Alert Programs - enhances the networking possibilities for members as they travel throughout the world by letting members in the areas of their destination know of their travel plans.

Miniature Cattle Registration - members have the opportunity to register animals in the Miniature Cattle Breeds Registry at a 50% discount for society members.

Membership Information Exchange - participation program designed to create a central clearing house for member communication / information. A resource for problem solving and learning opportunities.

Awards and Recognition - international recognition of breeders and organizations making outstanding contributions to the International Miniature Cattle Breeders Society and Registry.

Certificate - members receive a certificate of membership suitable for framing to help publicize participation and membership in IMCBS.

Every once in a while an opportunity pops up that makes perfect sense. Several of our society members have said they get tired of paying society dues every year. They have asked if it is possible to make a one time payment for a lifetime membership. Now there's a great concept - a Lifetime Membership. We have polled a cross section of members to get a reaction and it has been very favorable.

So here's the deal. For a one time payment of $200.00 US you can request a lifetime membership in the International Miniature Cattle Breeders Society. No dues, just one payment for life. This will includes Certificate of Lifetime Membership, Lifetime Animal Registrations at half price.
